We are pleased to announce the beginning of a new chapter in our journey with La Guitarreria.
Located in the heart of Paris, La Guitarreria has been, since its foundation in 1982 by Isabel Gómez, one of the most iconic meeting points for classical guitarists. More than a music shop, it became through her vision a true salon des guitaristes — a place where musicians, luthiers, students, and internationally renowned artists gather around a shared passion for the classical guitar. Isabel not only established the boutique itself, but also shaped the unique atmosphere of warmth, conviviality, and artistic exchange that continues to define it today.
Today, this singular spirit is carried forward by Frederic Limoge, Orlando Rojas, and José Ferreira, three musicians whose artistic backgrounds and deep connection to the guitar world bring invaluable experience and sensitivity to this exceptional space. Their own musical journeys, combined with their dedication to the instrument and its community, allow them to preserve and enrich the human and artistic identity that has made La Guitarreria so unique. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for their kind welcome and for the trust they have placed in our work.
This new connection represents an important step for us. It is not only about instruments, but about becoming part of a living tradition of craftsmanship, dialogue, and musical exchange that La Guitarreria has cultivated for decades in Paris.
We are honored to join this network of artists and instruments, and we look forward to developing meaningful projects together in the near future.
