31st Convegno Internazionale di Chitarra in Rome

On October 10th and 11th, Maestro Rodrigo Herrera, European representative of Elvis Pajares Guitars, attended the 31st Convegno Internazionale di Chitarra, held at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale in Rome. It was a memorable experience and a valuable opportunity to represent the work of Peruvian luthier Elvis Pajares at one of the international classical guitar community’s most significant gatherings.

Throughout the two days, we had the pleasure of discovering outstanding instruments, attending inspiring concerts, conferences and seminars, and exchanging ideas with distinguished performers, scholars and luthiers from around the world. The quality and diversity of the programme offered a remarkable perspective on the richness of today’s guitar world, while the many encounters and conversations made the experience particularly rewarding.

The Convegno was also an occasion to reconnect with friends and colleagues, meet new people, and exchange experiences with those who share a deep commitment to the guitar and its traditions. The Chitarre d’Oro awards added another special dimension to the event, celebrating excellence and meaningful contributions across the many fields that shape the life of our instrument.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to Giampaolo Bandini and the members of the Scientific Committee for their consideration and for allowing Elvis Pajares Guitars to participate in this important gathering.

We return from Rome with fresh inspiration, new connections and a renewed appreciation for the people whose dedication continues to enrich the world of the classical guitar.
